I am Pippi Longstocking

Does anyone remember Pippi Longstocking? She was so wild and crazy and played by her own rules, but the thing I remember her most for was her hair. Red braids that stuck straight out like this:

In one of my classes this term, there's a girl who, for some reason, reminds me of Pippi. Haha.
