Focus....Yesterday, we had a contest that turned out to be hilariously fun: ball balancing. We took turns seeing how long we could stay on the big ball. I held the record for 13 seconds. Then Mattea (my youngest sister) wasted me with 24 seconds. That was that for a few hours, but then Will was determined to beat his own personal record of 7 seconds. We kept trying and trying and he made it to 52, then I got to 86. Will holds the current record of 91 seconds. Wow!

Try it ... it's harder than it looks :)
I've actually done that before. Sometimes I think that the best entertainment is the free kind. Now I'm curious how long I could hold it, I'll have to give it a try sometime.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun. One of our most enjoyable FHE activities was with making shish-kabob towers when Scott's sister was staying with us. We were each allotted 12 shish-kabob sticks and like 3 feet of scotch tape. We would have done straw towers, but I couldn't find the straws. It was a lot of fun. I won, but only because the other two wouldn't stand up once they finished them.
ReplyDeleteTrina
try balancing on your knees on it- that is a load of fun as well
ReplyDeleteDid you ever doubt Will would win with those buns of steel?
ReplyDeleteWow...we'll have to try all those ideas. We're set for the next few weeks now!
ReplyDeleteAnd, Jonathan, you're right...how silly of me to even act surprised at his abilities :) He's a master at everything he does!
