well, will and i missed sacrament meeting today. church starts at 9, so we got up at 7:40 to get ready and finish preparing our lesson. usually there is the normal noise of hustling and bustling to be to church on time, but not this morning. we were about ready to go at 8:30, when will realized it was extremely quiet everywhere in the house. he look at his watch at it said 9:30, even though our alarm clock said 8:30. so what time was it really? my cell phone determined that we were, in fact, already half an hour late for church. so we finished getting ready and got to church in time for the closing song :)
the culprit? the daylight savings button on the alarm clock.
(we don't know when the button was pushed, but it was sometime between setting the alarm saturday night and getting up sunday morning, and we had no idea.)
(this was about what time it was when we realized we wouldn't be to church on time :) )
hehe, that's funny. Well, if nothing else you got a nice relaxing morning and at least you didn't miss the whole block of meetings! I wonder what your parents were thinking...hehe :)
