After saying goodbye to our favorite city, we packed up and traveled an hour to Scottsboro, Alabama. Not much is in Scottsboro, but a lot of everyone else's stuff resides there. The Unclaimed Baggage Center was our next stop where we found some of our favorite souvenirs (if you can call them that). Any lost baggage from airline passengers is all shipped to this store. It's like a giant Goodwill or DI. The only difference is that people actually wanted the stuff that landed here. (Why they didn't claim it is beyond me, but I thank them for my adorable brown flowered pumps and new stretchy velvet waist belt - you guys rock in my book.) Anyway, I said this place was big, but it's so big that we were presented with a map upon entering. Ya, we didn't even scratch the surface really. We each came out with a few useful items, and E got his first pair of sunglasses. Adorbs, right?
Our next stop was only another hour away in Huntsville, Alabama. We stopped at the Huntsville Botanical Garden and visited all their great gardens. Our favorite was the butterfly garden which was a big greenhouse where butterflies were everywhere. We got some great pictures and Emerson especially loved the big butterflies so close to him.
At the entrance of the garden we could borrow a wagon if we wanted. I loved toting E around in the little red wagon. Will loved seeing the bonsai garden and gave his best Karate Kid impression.
Emerson had a mini-meltdown at some point during the garden. It just happened to coincide with our could-have-been-perfect picture moment and ended up giving us one of our favorite pictures ever. You can just imagine what's going on behind the board.

On our way from the garden to Nashville, we stopped at the Nashville temple and let Emerson drive for a little bit.
We took a few hours to rest up and stop by the visitor's center before spending the next day in Nashville. Emerson played with his favorite souvenir from Chattanooga. He must have played with his train for 2 straight hours. Best $6 we've ever spent.
