We went to the Biloxi St. Patrick's Day Parade and had a lot of hot and humid fun. It was held in downtown Biloxi. It was nothing like any other parade I've been to. Pretty much there were lots of floats and atop people were drinking, smoking, and throwing beads at us. Every float had people throwing beads and then the parade ended abruptly and everyone scattered. That about sums it up.
We're waiting for the parade to come. It was really warm and sticky.
Emerson had his doubts.

Here's St. Patrick himself - nice of him to stop by for a visit.
Emerson loved seeing all the hooplah. He just looked around for the
first little while.
People tossed out more than just beads. We came home with all sorts of cheap toys and, of all things, marshmallow pie treats.
About halfway through, he started getting the idea
and gathering beads from the street.

Hey Bri! Emerson is looking so much bigger! I super wish that we could have nice weather like that and i'm super jealous:)
ReplyDeletefun! You all look great..and that kiddo sure knows how to rock the beer belly!
ReplyDeleteLooks so fun...and that's a lot of beads!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's some fancy bling you guys are sporting :) looks like fun. I love E's belly, is it always like that or is it just the way he's standing?
ReplyDeleteYou all look so great! Love the lipstick, Bri. And I know it's probably the only thing people comment on but...THAT GUT IS ADORBS.
ReplyDeletePlus, I'm glad he can handle having those beads around his head now. Haha.
Love you all!!
Now tell us the real story. I think we all know how you really get beads in the south. :)
ReplyDeleteJeff,
ReplyDeleteThat parade was a few blocks to the North. Decided not to go there. ;)
I know...E's belly is hilarious. It should be entered in some sort of contest because surely it would win. Or maybe we should just start rubbing it for good luck ;)
ReplyDelete@michelle - it's always like that. He is majorly front-heavy. Hopefully someday it evens out a little bit because his bum could use some of that extra padding, but for now we love it.
