the lemon tree

Although I have to brave a weed patch to get to it, I make frequent trips to get to my neighbor's lemon tree.  I have been so lucky to have an endless supply of lemons & I will sorely miss it.  I have enjoyed tasty meals with a hint of lemon in them, as well as other scrumptious things like shortbread cookies with lemon curd, lemon blueberry syrup, & lemon vinaigrette.  The lemons have kept my disposal fresh & clean, too!
