It was 87 degrees here the other day, and it was too hot. I saw a picture of snow on tv and I wanted to be in the snow. I wanted to get out of my car and have to step carefully so as to keep my pants slush-free. I wanted to hike up 200 stairs of ice to get to class at 8am. I wanted to drive 15mph under the speed limit to keep my car from fishtailing. I wanted to book-it out of the laundry room so that my clean laundry didn't get all wet and soggy before I got to my apartment.
Ok, maybe I really don't want all of these things for a whole winter, but I would like to spend a weekend in a snowy part of earth.
It's funny how life goes, huh? Funny picture, too. Where did it come from?
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest, even though I endured an entire winter this year (and every other year of my life for that matter) the snow was kindof nice this morning. It didn't stick to the ground which is my #1 criteria but it gave everything the cleanest, prettiest look. I like spring snowstorms that don't linger.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, I wish that I could be in the sun when it is snowing. Like when we had a lot of snow and it lasted forever.
